Following The Patterns Of Anxiety
Whether you have been dealing with anxiety for months, years, or are even unsure if you have yet to experience it, there are specific signs that may be able to help you in your time of fear.I read once that fear and anger go hand in hand. If you are angry at something, it means the there is plainly something wrong internally that you don't know how else to express. Vice versa, if you are fearful of something you will become angry at the thing you are fearing. The problem with this is that it begins a vicious cycle of sorts. A pattern will emerge making you angry and afraid all the same time. A way to seek out this pattern and stop it in it's tracks is the most powerful thing you can do to stopping your anxiety. If you follow the pain, the hurt, the fear, you will find the source of which it begins with and by so doing, you may be able to rid yourself of it.
Anxiety is an overwhelming amount of fear, much like a phobia and is a type of phobia in itself. The difference in a phobia and anxiety is that a phobia is for a very specific thing. You may be terrified of snakes, of cliffs, of water...etc... Where as anxiety is simple fear of random occurance in most instances. You may be overcome with anxiety in the middle of the grocery store for no reason what so ever, or mowing the lawn and find yourself in the beginning of a panic attack to which you have no idea why.
Anxiety can be difficult to understand, but is often swift in arriving and leaves the victome confused. The pattern that you can use to seek out the true problem, of why you suddenly become fearful. Firstly always ask yourself if there are any similar occurances in the times you find yourself overcome with anxiety. Your next question would be what was on your mind in the occurances. What is going on in your life currently? Is there excess stress?
Often times, much like anything else in life that can impair your health, stress is a huge contributing factor. Stress can impair your appetite, create mood changes, and add fear to your life with whatever is behind the stress. The simple answer with what isn't a simple solution is aid the stress and work out the problem creating the stress.
Stress is a frustrating thing. The frustration can create the anger which will cause the fear. No matter if you are stressing about work, a relationship, a project, the anger in your frustration, the fear of what could happen etc...can manifest in anxiety.
Follow the pattern and find out if it is your stress and anger creating your anxiety, and if so, work on letting it go, and with time your anxiety may fade with it.
